Orange hobo bag complete

Orange hobo bag complete

Here's the second bag I've made from my circular hobo pattern. All finished and I love it! I shortened the strap to a shoulder length which feels better than the too-long crossbody strap I made on the white bag. Also, I really like how this more rigid leather keeps its shape. My idea for the hidden internal magnet closure didn't work as well as I wanted. The edges have to be really close together for the magnet to hold it closed. So it's not the most effective solution. But apart from that, I think it's perfect. And these colors just knock me out.

I made this bag out of bright yellow-orange waterproof coated veg tan calf leather for the exterior and sky blue veg tan goat skin for the interior. It has white edge paint and white stitching, one slim open interior side pocket and a solid brass key ring holder.

I'm calling this one "Sunny Side Up". :)
