Article: Second hobo style bag underway

Second hobo style bag underway

Second hobo style bag underway

I'm making another version of my new round hobo-style bag design. This time, I'm building a more structured rigid style with no piping. I'm also experimenting with a hidden internal magnetic closure, instead of the magnetic strap I used on the white bag. I want to keep the lines of this design even more simple.

I'm using bright yellow-orange waterproof coated veg tan calf leather on the exterior and sky blue veg tan goat skin for the lining. This is my first time using both, so I'm excited to see what they're like to work with. I LOVE these colors!

I've built the pocket and key hook into the lining. Now I just need to sew the whole bag together. Stay tuned!
